Who we are, and proof of our legal standing.
Our story, the team behind Startin, and the documents that support our operation as a nonprofit entity.
Startin began with a personal need.
Startin did not begin as a foundation. It began with a father trying to support his daughter’s academic progress.
With every family move, the same question came up: how could he support her academic progress and ensure she had the tools she needed? The first response was focused: bring technology tools closer to schools.
The pandemic turned that need into purpose. Teachers were seen walking through communities with printed sheets, visiting students one by one because they had no technological tools to work any other way. It became clear that the problem was not one family’s: it was an entire system’s.
Today, Startin reaches 101 municipalities across 24 departments. Tolima is the department with Startin’s greatest presence, with 22 municipalities served.

We publish the information that lets companies, institutions and communities understand what we do and verify our formal status.
What does Fundación Startin do?
We design and deliver responsible AI adoption projects for companies, educational institutions and territories. The work combines diagnosis, supported implementation, installed capacity and completion evidence.
How does Startin validate implementation?
Our methodology combines diagnosis, technology identity, adoption and literacy. In the educational component, 70/70/50 completion gates measure participation by teachers, students and families when they apply to the project.
What results are documented?
As of July 30, 2026, Startin reports 63,000+ people reached, 100+ institutions, 101 municipalities and presence in 24 departments in Colombia.
